About Jenna Cook

Hi, my name is Jenna Cook! I am currently a master’s student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Jacksonville University. Before returning to school for counseling, I spent several years coaching children and adolescents in figure skating. Through coaching, I discovered how much I enjoyed supporting young people not only in developing their skills, but also in building confidence, navigating emotions, and growing as individuals. This experience ultimately inspired me to pursue a career in counseling.

I am passionate about working with children and adolescents and creating a safe, supportive environment where they can feel comfortable expressing themselves and exploring their emotions. After graduation, I plan to pursue licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and become a Registered Play Therapist (RPT).

Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy taking walks on the beach with my puppy, reading, and figure skating. I am excited for the opportunity to support you and your family and to be part of your counseling journey!
