About Miranda Caprio

Hi, my name is Miranda! I am a graduate student at UNF and a student intern here at Willow Tree. I taught neurodivergent elementary and middle school children for three years as an ESE teacher before going back to school for clinical mental health counseling. As a teacher, I spent a lot of time helping students manage emotions and working with them on their social skills. It became the best part of my job! Now, I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to focus solely on supporting others through their mental health journey.

She is currently a graduate student at University of North Florida. She has a special interest in working with children, utilizing play therapy with the neurodivergent population! Miranda’s passion and enthusiasm is apparent when you meet her in the waiting room. Miranda will be an intern at Willow Tree Therapy Services from August 2025 until July 2026.
